Builders Risk Insurance

Builders Risk Insurance covers a vessel and related property and materials from the start of construction through the final delivery to the customer. Coverage can be all-inclusive, excluding defects and destruction through war.

Builders can choose a policy that covers the total amount of the finished product, or a policy that is adjusted upwards as work is completed.

Business Risk Insurance can also be purchased when a boat is in for repairs or during transport of the vessel to and from the owner.

Coverage can be placed for the builder or owner of the vessel and insures against physical loss or damage to the vessel and collision liability and protection and indemnity exposures during sea trials and delivery.
